"Being Creative" was the reason why I came to America...
However, the path was unpredictably winding and interesting
each time I came to a T. This is not the ending but the sunrise is already
too bright,

Whether you are traveling to Japan, meeting with Japanese friends on campus,
or hosting Japanese students at home, wouldn't it be nice if you could communicate
with them in Japanese? In this fun course, we will focus on oral communication
skills by experiencing the Japanese way. We will also learn Japanese grammar
through Japanese traditional songs as well as anime songs, experience Japanese
tastes, as well as many other fun and exciting activities.
This is the perfect course for you to learn Japanese conversation
in a comfortable
environment taught by Fumiko Tachibana, the very dedicated and popular Japanese
instructor at Palomar College and recipient of the 2006 Distinguished Faculty
Award.

The Palomar College students had a great time
with the host family in Akita.
Deer in Nara want icecream? But they know how to bow
before and after meal, "Itadakimasu" and "Gochisousama".
They bow very properly. Let's go and see them do it.
William is a fluent speaker. He took my college courses,
the fist semester and the third semester when he
was still in high school. He hired a tutor, watched anime,
loved anything about anime and Japan. He went to Japan
twice with us. (2004 & 2005) I wonder how heis doing.

Karaoke is a universal experience. Jonathan is a quiet student,
and nobody knew he was a great singer.
